Day 1: Introduction & NFPA 25 Overview

Day 2: Sprinkler Systems – Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance
- Types of sprinkler systems (wet, dry, pre-action, deluge)
- Inspection schedules and key visual inspection points
- Flow and pressure testing
- Internal pipe inspections
- Fire department connections (FDC) testing
Hands-On Activity:
- Identify sprinkler heads and perform visual inspection
- Conduct valve tagging and record-keeping
Day 3: Standpipe Systems, Fire Pumps, and Hydrants
- Inspection and testing of standpipe systems (Class I, II, III)
- Fire pumps: Weekly/monthly run tests, pressure readings, churn vs flow
- Hydrant testing: flow testing, lubrication, valve operation
Hands-On Activity:
- Live demonstration of fire pump testing and hydrant operation
- Pressure measurement and flow rate calculations
Day 4: Fire Alarm & Detection Systems
- Overview of NFPA 72 and integration with NFPA 25
- Smoke detectors, heat detectors, manual call points

Day 5: Special Suppression Systems & Final Assessment
- Clean agent systems (FM200, Novec 1230)
- Foam systems – types and maintenance
- Dry chemical and CO? systems inspection
- Common deficiencies and how to correct them
- Impairment handling procedures and communication
- Final group review and practical assessment
NOTE: Pre & Post Tests will be conducted
